Rumors regarding the presentation of future Windows 9 were already confirmed: Microsoft officially announced that the event will take place on September 30.

The most anticipated news is presentation of the Technical Preview version and news of upcoming Windows 9; the final version of its release date will be announced, most likely, at the event. At the moment, unofficial information say that Windows 9 will be released somewhere next spring.

Information about upcoming Windows 9 have already appeared several times. Among those known at this time they include optimizing the traditional desktop interface to be more attractive to older Windows 7 or XP users, a button and a Start menu that will also keep fragments of Modern UI, notification center, native support for desktop virtual CEs and others. Rumors speak about Cortana and Wi-Fi Sense services integration, but all the surprises that Microsoft is preparing will be officially revealed at the end of this month.

Although it brought many improvements, Windows 8 was not very accepted by traditional keyboard and mouse users since Modern UI touch environment was not well optimized for these control systems even if Microsoft has tried to improve the situation in Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 Update 1.
