If you have an older generation tablet or smartphone, you\'ll be able to bring a novelty applying new free launcher provided by Google.

The company has thought of loyal users who still possess the older generation devices, offering them an alternative to custom interface implemented by manufacturers Android devices. Google Now Launcher has been adapted to Material Design, offering a visual experience in tune with the current Android Lollipop version.

Before this update, installing Google Now Launcher from Google Play Store offered users an interface whose appearance mimics the official version of Android interface present on the device. Instead, bringing Google Now to the Material Design theme and its implementation for all devices guarantees an uniform look, harmonized with Android applications that have already passed to the Material Design interface.

Compatible with devices running Android version 4.1 minimum, Google Now Launcher not dramatically alter the way users interact with devices. However, users will notice new effects and animation application list shown on a white background. Some of them might criticize Google Search widget that can not be removed from the main screen. On a slip to the left of the screen accessible side panel slide-in provides options for changing user accounts, create alarms for tasks and changing settings Google Now.

Google Now Launcher is provided free of charge and has a low consumption of memory and processing resources, being a good choice for increasing the performance experienced by older generation Android devices.
