In this mode it integrates with any existing system, such as time and attendance, check-in / check-out, access control, even if this is a legacy, text-oriented, system. How does it work? When you register the fingerprints, you link each person to an ID (his/her social security number, for instance). Then, when one touches the fingerprint reader, the identified person is logged and the ID is passed to another application through the keyboard buffer or the clipboard. Desktop Identity features: - Multiple fingerprint reader support: including Microsoft Fingerprint reader, Digital Persona U.are.U, Secugen Hamster, Testech Bio-I and Crossmatch V300/V500. - Auto-fill: when you register a person in Desktop Identity, you associate him/her with an ID.
