Purge is a program that allows you to delete files from your computer the way, it won't be possible to recover them using any file recovering software or even by giving your harddrive to the professional company that specialize in data recovering. Standard "Delete" method provided to you by the operating system, don't really destroy the data on your hardrive, it merely removes filename from directory list, and marks space occupied by your file as free. Purge package consist of two files: Purge.exe and Purge.dll. Purge.exe is for console usage and allows you to purge single file or recursively entire directory. It also support wildcards for erasing multiple files/directories. Purge.dll is a Windows shell extension that integrates itself with Windows Explorer allowing you to Purge your files as easily as deleteing them is. Simply select files/directories in Windows Explorer you want to permanently erase, right click and choose "Purge" menu item, which is just below Delete item.
