Tool to visualize data on serial ports / comports and to log or record them
SerialSniffer is a handy tool developed to help you for visualize data exchanged on one or two serial ports (i.e. RS232 or RS422).
This data can be analyzed and logged into a file, offering the possibility to manipulate or distribute it over the network.
SerialSniffer VirtualSerialPort (VPS) Edition help you restrict the cable spaghetti on your desktop to connect SerialSniffer with other applications running on the same PC. This way, the two additional physical ports became obsolete. SerialSniffer adds a new comport to the operating system, which can be directly used by the user application.
Upon using the VirtualSerialPort, only the original physical serial port is necessary.
