The Worldwide Web has changed rapidly since its humble beginnings. First, add them all to the hosts file on your computer, redirecting them to 127.0.0.1 (or you can just download our hosts file if this seems too complicated). Second, install Web Bubba, the powerful yet small and fast server that runs on your own computer (and is only seen by your computer) and gives your web browser a tiny invisible image instead of all those ads or other unwanted contents. The server is fully configurable. You can turn it on or off any time you want. It is written in assembly language (source code included, too), so it is one lean and mean Bubba! Of course, you can use it to filter out any web server, not just the ad servers. If you are a public library required by law to filter out sleezy and hateful sites, Web Bubba can handle those. And you do not even have to pay a monthly fee for some outsider to do it for you and slow down your Internet access in the process. With Web Bubba your access is sped up considerably: No time is wasted downloading ads or any other filtered-out contents.
