Using these ActiveX components you can send and receive instant messages with other applications such as Microsoft WinPopup, Instant NT Messenger Service, and NetTalk across your network. You can list domains/workgroups and computers too. Methods/Properties: Sender Object NetSend - Sends a message to NetTalk or Windows NT Messenger Service. SendToMailSlot - Sends a message to given MailSlot of a given computer or all computers of a Domain/Workgroup. SendWinPopup - Sends a WinPopup message to a given computer or all computers of a Domain/Workgroup. GetLastError - Returns last occurred error. Server Object OpenMailslot - Opens a given mailslot as a given name. CloseMailSlot - Closes opened MailSlot. ReadNextMessage - Returns the oldest received message. IsSlotOpen Returns - TRUE if a mailslot is open, else it will return FALSE. GetLastError - Returns last occurred error. MessageCount - Returns number of unread messages. Network Object GetComputerName - Returns the local computer's name. GetDomainName - Returns name of the local domain/workgroup. Refresh Refreshs - listing of network ressources.
